si-weet si-weet guardian
i had my honey dropped me off at the bus stop so that he could go to work a bit earlier this morning.
i was waiting at the bus stop, reading, thinking, looking across the street... then i saw him walking across the street and came to me!
m: what were u doing here? i thought u went to work already!
w: nope, i was watching u to make sure u get on the bus ma...
m: oh? since i was waiting? it's been at least 15 min already!
w: yeah.. so instead of waiting in the car, i might just come over and wait w/ u at the bus stop.
m: u know what... no one but my parents have done sth like this to me b4..
w: haha.. are we all spoiling you?
m: heehee... nope.. i just feel like i have one more 親人 now
his protection... guarding me whenever he can, reminds me of this passage... especially the last paragraph...
Psalm 121 (The Message):
A Pilgrim Song
1-2 I look up to the mountains; does my strength come from mountains?
No, my strength comes from God,
who made heaven, and earth, and mountains.
3-4 He won't let you stumble,
your Guardian God won't fall asleep.
Not on your life! Israel's
Guardian will never doze or sleep.
5-6 God's your Guardian,
right at your side to protect you—
Shielding you from sunstroke,
sheltering you from moonstroke.
7-8 God guards you from every evil,
he guards your very life.
He guards you when you leave and when you return,
he guards you now, he guards you always.
suddenly i realize how God can guard us...
