si-weet si-weet compliment

we went to a wedding together for the second time after we started dating.
i wore very high heel again n he carefully followed me and opened the cardoor for me.

m: why do u follow me!?
w: wah.. the road is so rocky and i m afraid u'll fall ma...
m: heehee...

n then i was in the car.... pointing to my head to draw his attention on my hair... as i've been "decorating" myself for 2 hrs and waiting for him to say sth abt it...

w: wah... my girlfriend is so beautiful!
m: heeheehee... (missions accomplished)

i kept smiling happily and could not stop coz i just want his compliment n i got it!
and whoever else said i m pretty, i won't treasure as much.

suddenly, that reminds me of whom should i please in my life.
all the hard work, preparation... serving God..
do i wanna please my Lord Jesus? or do i want a compliment from the people i serve?
