si-weet si-weet moment

experiencing God's love through your only love... realizing God's love can be this amazing... not by any human efforts, but by grace alone... through what you said to me... i see it and i feel it... thank you!

si-weet si-weet flowers

reading the old postings remind me of a couple conversations we had in the past two months.

after world cup final @ river road
m: you like to take picture w/ flowers too?
w: en en... coz these wild flowers are not taken care by any human.. but God alone
m: what about those in the garden?
w: ne ne... they are too artificial

i was a bit disappointing coz... i don't think it that way...
plus... does that mean he won't go to any garden w/ me?
i wasn't brave enough to tell him till we went Butchart Garden...
and i kept watching him taking pics of different flowers...

m: aren't they beautiful?
w: en en... (busy taking pictures...)
m: do u remember u've once told me u like wild flowers only bcoz they are raised by God?
w: en en...
m: i wanna tell u that without God, no matter how hard the gardener push it, the flowers won't blossom. it's God who tell them to grow...
w (sinking this idea in....): true...

1 Corinthians 3:5-9 (The Message)

Who do you think Paul is, anyway? Or Apollos, for that matter? Servants, both of us—servants who waited on you as you gradually learned to entrust your lives to our mutual Master. We each carried out our servant assignment. I planted the seed, Apollos watered the plants, but God made you grow. It's not the one who plants or the one who waters who is at the center of this process but God, who makes things grow. Planting and watering are menial servant jobs at minimum wages. What makes them worth doing is the God we are serving. You happen to be God's field in which we are working.

May we enjoy the nature
May we serve our Lord faithfully...
even though things don't work out as we've expected...
